If wearing bare foot order 1 size up, if wearing with thick socks go 2 sizes up.To bottoms are sized close to the correct sole size. So I believe it’s the fully inside that down sized these.Edit - Upon purchasing the second pair it became very obvious what the flaw is that causes the slipper not to fit the size listed on it.I tried on the new pair which was 2 sizes bigger than the size 9 I originally purchased. So to recap that’s a size 11 and much to my surprise it barely fit and I could put even a thin sock on with it which left the ankle cold.Disappointed I set them down knowing I’d be returning them after the holiday along with the first pair (size 9).When I set them down I saw that its a design flaw that causes them not to fit.The portion of the slipper that cups the back of the heel is cut at at more of angle than the shoes I’d inadvertently set them next too.I checked it against all my other shoes and even the slippers I’d set out to replace when I purchased the first pair of these. None had an angle that was anywhere near as sever as this one. After noticing this I opted not to size up one last time to try to get them to finally fit. It’s also important to note here that if you purchased these when I did they were $16-$20 and they are now $36.That’s way more than it should cost to purchase slippers with a design flaw severe enough that purchasing ones that fit becomes a guessing game.
