I just bought my second belt. I like the ratcheting mechanism best. This one is very strong. I used to buy a ratchet strap from another manufacturer, probably from China. The ratchet broke after a few weeks. They changed it and it broke too. I took it apart and found that one of the internal parts was very poorly constructed. I don't know why they made this obvious mistake, but it was definitely bad design. Gallery Seven's design is very strong. I also love that the buckle can be easily removed so you can switch between different buckle styles or strap colors.
