Review on πŸ“ž Efficiently Expand Your Telecom Connections with CHANNEL VISION C-0436 4 in / 8 Out RJ45 Telecom Distribution Module by Jerome Pritchard

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Works great, fits well in a textured back box

Bought one of these to distribute a single line cordless phone to other rooms in the house. All telephone jacks are Category 5 wired and run to a structured junction box where each cable has an RJ45 termination. I chose this product because it fits RJ45 end jacks and because it has enough output leads to plug into any room (and a few spares). The device works as expected even though I'm not using the service/security port. It fits snugly in the Wirepath case with snap pins. It has a strong feeling. The only thing I fault is the price which seems high for a better splitter, although it is still much cheaper than other brands. To be fair, most other brands either have more outlets, either 12 or 24, or they have perforated connectors instead of RJ45. Some might prefer punching, but for me the RJ45 connections worked better, allowing me to reallocate the lines as needed for data rather than phones and avoid the hassle of cutting the ends of each cable and punching them into blocks (8 outputs). x 8 wires each). and avoid the work of cutting off the ends of each wire and punching them into blocks (8 exits). x 8 wires each). and avoid the work of cutting off the ends of each wire and punching them into blocks (8 exits). x 8 wires each). most other brands either have more outlets, either 12 or 24, or they have perforated connectors instead of RJ45.
