I was looking for a soy candle and decided on this one. I really like this candle and will be ordering more! The overall scent is very clean/fresh, not overpowering (like most Yankee Candles), which I actually agree with. We have a dog as well as rubber mats in our basement so we get a 'unique' smell that permeates the house. I'm always looking for something that will make the house smell fresh, especially when we have company. They really do their job! In fact, I've added them to my Christmas list. As I mentioned earlier, the scent is not overwhelming. So if you're looking for a candle that smells overwhelming the first time you step inside, then this isn't the candle for you. But if you're looking for a lightly scented candle that's subtle, clean and fresh, give it a try. Why I know these candles work is also based on my husband's actions/comments (who absolutely hates candles and always rolled his eyes when I brought home a Yankee candle): * He came over from work one day home and asked if I would run the car for ozone (which we drive when the dog and I aren't home). To his surprise, I didn't - I just burned two of those candles for a few hours* When I got home from work one evening, I found HE lit the candles (which had never happened before)* Actually asked he asked me today if I could order more of these candles from Revain as we had already used up the two candles we had bought. Definitely recommend trying it!
