A highly affordable 3x1 HDMI switch that transmits full bandwidth 18Gbps 4K RGB 60Hz signals. It supports the correct transmission of Dolby Vision, Low Level Dolby Vision (LLDV), HDR10, Dolby Atmos and Dolby Atmos MAT signals. I have not tested HLG or HDR10+. I tested all signals and EDID support through HDFury Vertex from Xbox One X, PS4 Pro, Apple TV 4K and NVidia GPU. I didn't experience any dropouts when using multiple HDMI cables from Monoprice, RevainBasics, and KabelDirect. HDMI input switching is automatic and fast; however, has limited functionality with devices that don't turn off completely (e.g. Apple TV), so most implementations with automatic switching based on voltage detection will work. Automatic switching only works on devices that can be completely disabled or that cut HDMI power in standby mode. There doesn't seem to be a way to turn off auto-switching, but a toggle button or remote control can be used instead to control it manually. . The remote control comes with the CR2025 installed. Nice design and unlike their 4-port switch, this box has an in-line input and output, which greatly simplifies cable management. For this reason alone I prefer this block over 4 or 5 port switches unless you need more than 3 inputs. The build quality is okay, the material is mostly plastic with a thin layer of aluminum on the sides. The top and bottom are made of reflective material that is easily scratched when the protective film is removed. The switch appears to be powered by a 5V HDMI power supply, so a power supply is optional on lower resolutions. This switch uses microUSB for power, making it flexible for installations where a separate power outlet may not be available. Incredible value for less than $20. This is a 3-port HDMI switcher that delivers excellent 4K 4:4:4/RGB/60Hz performance.
