Look good, slip a little
It's hard to find 1.25 inch wide belts like this, so that's a good thing. I use them for my mountain bike shorts. Under "normal" wearing conditions, I'm sure they're fine. But after getting off the bike, I found that the plastic buckle had slipped off. I'm not sure if a metal buckle would have been better but I suspect it would.
Pros
- Ideal for the airport or wherever you go with a metal detector.
Cons
- Durable enough to last for years even with constant use
