I've been using it for 3 months, it works like the original. I bought my Asus Predator from a pawn shop so I don't remember exactly what condition the original PSU was in before it failed. My original PSU powered my Asus Predator for a good 3 months before one of two things caused it to crash. 1) I have a new waterproof laptop case and have occasionally closed the cable's lid, probably unknowingly nicking and squeezing. and/or 2) My cat is curious about the taste of the wire. Anyway, I noticed that my original power supply's cords were frayed for one reason or another and I had to replace it with this one. I'm more careful to pack the power supply in my suitcase now, and I also try not to leave my laptop and power cords unattended among curious cats. It's a little pricey, but it works. Seems to charge a laptop in about 90 minutes. IDK if it's a power setting, but my Predator only stays charged for another 90 minutes before completely draining again. I would recommend this charger. He has good reviews.
