Review on Adjustable Heavy Pockets with Waxed Canvas by Brandon Woodson

Woodworking Apron Fits Protective Workwear

Whether you're a DIY enthusiast or a professional carpenter, this apron is a must have in your workshop. Crossed back straps with crab clasps work very well; do not have loops around the neck, which are often too long, letting the apron fall far down or too short, and do not fit over hats and some heads. The lengths of the back straps are strong enough to support a carpenter's sharpener attachment. The breast pocket offers space for a carpenter's pencil and protective/reading glasses. The 2 front pockets are deep enough to store a tape measure, nails/screws or any other items you may need. The pockets are flapped and for the most part keep dust and wood shavings out well, but for some tasks they can be a little longer so they can't fall off or end up in a pocket (it's just up to you make and personal preference). The heavy tarpaulin construction provides excellent protection against power tool splinters and keeps the brushes clean at the end of the day. If you had to write something negative, it would be the same with any other apron: if stains, paint, oil got on it, it won't be easy, if at all, to remove. I gave the durability 4 out of 5 simply because I don't think the canvas will survive thick leather as my leather apron lasted almost 20 years. However, the price is worth it as you will NOT find a quality leather apron at this price; will probably get one for other family members to use in their home improvement projects.

Pros
  • Protective Workwear
Cons
  • Slightly Torn
