Review on 🌊 Enhance Your Diving Experience with SUUNTO SK-8 Dive Compass - Front Mount, NH by Matt Watson

The SK-8 quickly points north and maintains correct orientation as it moves. It also has more tilt resistance compared to the cheaper dive compasses I've used. One problem: On my first dive with it, the compass card was off-center and wouldn't rotate. My instructor said it's not uncommon for a compass to get hot after being in direct sunlight and then cool down. The solution was to reheat them, center them on the card, and then protect them from direct sunlight. After that everything worked fine. One more comment: I ordered a top console mount but got a rear mount instead. I installed it, but overall I don't like this setup. I will most likely keep it as a backup and order a wrist mount for my primary.
