Review on Mackie MC Headphones Black MC 150 by Samantha Stevens

I've had them for about 3 months now, they sound more detailed and punchy than the ATH-M50 headphones I'm looking to replace A flatter yet unique sound signature compared to my Airpods Pro. The audio, which I'd say falls between closed and open back, still does an amazing job of giving you an immersive experience while still letting through enough sound to know if someone is speaking/yelling. Moderate audio distortion and you definitely can't hear what they're saying, but that slight touch of the open back opens up the soundstage just enough to make the listening experience close to the chest but detailed and interesting, and these headphones are very prone to EQ. , so with Dolby Atoms or Bass Boost, the feeling is great! I really think Mackie's expertise in building outdoor gear shows and the listening experience is more like a live concert with some really good Mackie speakers. I'm sure there are better headphones out there but they add up to what - or under 400 from ATH and I have no problem with hiss which is generally an issue for me and can be an issue with monitoring style headphones , but it's an improvement over the Audio Technica M50 headphones. I've been using them for 11 years and that includes the build quality. I expect to have to replace the ear pads at some point, but this and the M50 are mechanical headphone keyboards, they just never die. Personally, I love cutting edge technology, but for the daily driver at my desk, I want reliable sound that will definitely last the next 10+ years, has powerful and versatile sound, is comfortable for long hours, and is durable. all boxes! Even with wireless headphones, Bluetooth is still a point where there can be connection issues, firmware updates, outdated versions over time, etc. It turns out that the physical copper connections are very reliable and nothing to worry about have to do the battery. I love her!
