I spent an hour looking for a good leather belt. There are different grades of leather, and some of them look like the famous cardboard one. I thought the Carhartt name was synonymous with quality. I figured builders and DIYers would wear that brand and there was a standard that needed to be maintained. NO! This belt may say "real leather" but it is actually woven leather. What are you asking? These are scraps of "real leather" that are shredded and mixed with filler and polyurethane and pressed into a leather-like material. I expect this belt will be junk in a few months. Garbage! I hate being used!
