Excellent value pants for 7 year old son. Thick, warm, soft, well made. My son loves sweatpants with pockets. He loves these pants the most, they are not too big, slight drawstring in the waist. Elastic not tight won't dent around the waist. Pockets are deep and secure. I had some sizing confusion, this was the second time I've ordered them. They were little kids, the big amazon offered special packaging that made the pants incredibly good value when I ordered that color and size. Big little kids are perfect for my 7 year old son of average build. However, there is no room to grow in length. In the past I've ordered big kids small, the equivalent of little kids XL. We have at least 10 pairs of these pants. This is his main school pants from autumn to spring. They look good at school, the mottled color hides blotches and stains, and he likes warm and comfortable clothes with pockets. The fleece lining has withstood many washes. No pilling. We will order them again and again.
