Review on Protect Your Smile with 3M Oral Care ESPE 12117 Clinpro Tooth Creme 0.21% NAF Anti Cavity Toothpaste in Vanilla Mint Flavor by Renee Patterson

I ordered this toothpaste as a cheaper alternative to buying the CariFree brand as they both claim to do the same thing. Prevent (and possibly reverse) tooth decay. However, there is definitely a difference in the quality, feel on the teeth, and common ingredients of each toothpaste. Toothpaste 3m contains: Sodium Fluoride (Fluoride Ion) - ACTIVATOR INGREDIENT, Water, Sorbitol, Silicon Dioxide, Glycerin, Polyethylene Glycols. B. sodium lauryl sulfate, titanium dioxide, sodium carboxymethyl cellulose, sodium saccharin and tricalcium phosphate. Hydrolyzate, Hydroxyethylcellulose, Sodium Lauryl Sulfate, Potassium Sorbate, Polysorbate 20, Spearmint Oil, Menthol, Hydroxyapatite, Sodium Benzoate, Sodium Bicarbonate, Sodium Hydroxide. Colgate) and didn't affect the sensitivity of my teeth much. I felt like my teeth still hurt and it wasn't as effective as the Carifree toothpaste which completely relieved my tooth sensitivity. I also felt that Carifree toothpaste reversed potential tooth decay (read my review: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00XWT1W6M) and this paste didn't help much. I know it's a cheaper brand and brand of prescription toothpaste, but it didn't work as a prescription toothpaste-like toothpaste on my decay-prone teeth. However, this 3m toothpaste has a great unique vanilla and mint flavor. I'm giving it 3 stars because it's a "regular" toothpaste that (in my opinion) has the same benefits as other popular toothpastes on the market. But when it comes to preventing or eliminating tooth decay, I would give no stars and recommend Carifree toothpaste instead. Hope that helps :)
