The first thing I love about this table is that it's stylish and I like that it's easy to assemble and I also like the functionality of the tray so it can be easily lifted for serving . Also, I bought this table as side tables, also hoping that it would suit my young children, the youngest of whom is 2 years old. I didn't want to buy a wooden or glass table lest the table break or they break. wanted to get injured and have something stylish at the same time, so I took these. However, as you can see from the picture, it is also easy to disassemble, especially with children, many times. Even if you don't have kids, I think once you start putting things on the table, even using a tray, the weight won't hold. So I'm so sad I've had it for 2 months now and can't return it but I wouldn't buy it again. This is my experience with this table.
