Review on Ion Intensive Shine Burgundy Permanent by Jennifer Miller

I used to use L'Oreal Healthy Look semi-permanently. They recently discontinued it, which started my investigation. Research led me to Sally Beauty Supply and I've never been happier! I use 2 ounces of this with 4 ounces of Sensitive Scalp Developer. Smells floral, not chemical like hair dye. Be careful when putting it on your head. It touched my scalp and temporarily turned my scalp a hot pink, but washed off after 2 washes. After 2 weeks the color is still there. Even if my roots grow in it, it's hard to tell. The hue is quite purple-reddish but looks very natural. Next time I will use 6RV because it came out much darker than the sample and the picture. It is better for the hair and covers gray very well. This color is very dark so I would lighten it a few shades.
