Luckily my car had the perfect spot for it, I think depending on the curvature of your dashboard/controls, the one that attaches to your air vents, cup holders or a CD player maybe more appropriate. The instructions say to leave for 24 hours, maybe this is not necessary. I didn't wait that long (barely waited 30 minutes) but it seems to be working fine! Pros Ridiculously easy to install. I cleaned the mount with some rubbing alcohol to ensure a good clean adhesion. Pretty strong magnet! I have an s9+ and without putting the sticky metal on the phone it turned out there was enough metal in the phone to stick. Aesthetically, it looks very minimalistic in my car. Cons Wasn't a problem for me, but depending on the car I can imagine it would be helpful if there was some depth on the mountain. This allows you to place it further on the dashboard while ensuring you can place your phone in any orientation. I ended up laying it all the way to the edge (and luckily it was flat enough to stick to, but that's not always possible).
