It won't hold your front sister back.
It didn't affect my forehead wig very much. The lace shows the shine of the strap, which is very noticeable on black leather. Also, it barely held up. I suspect that the weight of a 24 inch wig is too heavy compared to the 5 inch wigs it is typically used for. I would suggest using thick tape.
