First good news: you don't need to buy an additional hot button accessory for my new Navien NPE-240A water heater when you buy WIFI NaviLink. I use a water heater by setting a schedule from 0:00 to 23:50 and turning the heater off. Whenever I need hot water I just turn the heater on with the Navilink app and the heater will automatically circulate water until the return line is 10 degrees from the set temperature. As soon as I no longer need hot water, I switch off the device until next time. Unfortunately, a very clunky app with rudimentary functionality makes my experience with my new Navien heater a lot less rewarding than it should be. Even the brochure that came with the WLAN receiver doesn't say that you had to reprogram several heating settings and change one of the microswitches on the device. All of this was fixed by calling the support team and they waited 50 minutes. But once that was all in place, Wi-Fi setup was quick and easy.
