This is a much better cable than the one I had but without the gold connectors. PC with another device. The headphones have no click from the PC so I can only attribute this to the cable as I cleaned all the connections well too. I was also wondering if it might be more sensitive to PC performance? Maybe cold soldering in shrink wrap? UPDATE: Thanks to recent reviews on another digital device, I've found that when I plug the PC into a separate outlet while not hearing the standard 60 hertz, the "click" noise stops. Hum, I didn't know digital ground loops would make a "dust click". Much better now! :)
