No defects found so far
After at least 1000 shots with the Mavica FD97 I still haven't found any defects. Features I particularly like: 10x optical zoom. This optical zoom covers every situation I've encountered, from getting close to the scene while staying behind the line of fire to capturing a face without distorting or intimidating the subject. High-definition pictures. Combined with a good printer, the resolution of images taken at the highest possible numbers produces a print that looks continuous even under a jeweler's loupe. Simple operation: Basic operations for high image quality are quickly learned. Additional options aren't required to produce the desired image, but they are there and I have yet to unleash their full potential.
