In September I broke my ankle and needed comfortable support for my foot before and after surgery. My doctor wanted me to have firm support and elevation above my heart. This product was rolled tightly like a jam roll and took at least a day to return to its original shape. In the supine position it is not high enough. I had to put a hard flat pillow underneath. The fabric cover is terrible. This is a thin fabric that sticks very easily to tiny taut threads that look like cobwebs. If you have a rough cast, this footstool is almost useless. It's too big to put on a pillowcase without bending over and I tried a pillowcase on my leg one night. I was so confused I almost fell out of bed. I ended up temporarily shredding the old sheet and rolling up another layer of strips of fabric until I found something better. This foam is so light that it doesn't stay in one place for long. Lots of pain and stress trying to keep up with him for a $40 pillow. He'll come back if I find a replacement. Any suggestions?
