This is quite a nice iPad case. I needed something to protect my old iPad and this works great. What I really like is that you can detach the magnetic cover and leave only the case, which is very convenient when I read on the iPad. The lid is easy to remove, just push in and pull out. Don't try to remove it from the bottom as the hinge is only plastic and you will break it. The lid is a magnetic lid so it's secure and also turns off your iPad's screen when it's closed. I will also add that the case arrived slightly damaged as the packaging is just a thin plastic bag. There are small marks or dents on the case, so be aware that this can happen to your case. I think maybe a few days and it might go away but it doesn't. The case itself is made of silicone plastic. The material is prone to sun damage, so it can become cloudy or foggy after a while. The weakest point is the flimsy material near the switches. They are flexible so be careful as they can deform oddly if left in an uncomfortable position for too long. However, when you use the iPad for the first time, make sure that the edges and corners completely enclose the iPad to make sure you don't deform the edges, which is really difficult to repair afterwards. The case is protective as the material is quite thick and protects against scratches. The iPad sleeve can be lifted up so you can easily see things on your iPad when needed. The stand holds very well and it actually only takes one try to actually stand up. I must say right away that the body cannot be adjusted according to the angle at which it is held. The material also becomes a little foggy and gloomy over time when exposed to direct sunlight. Overall I think this case is pretty good, although it just arrived damaged and needs better packaging.
