I didn't get this to use as a stool. And that's good because it doesn't feel like it would hold anywhere near the advertised weight capacity. The center has too much "give" and the pieces slide around against each other.That said, it's fine for what I needed. The new house's master bath is much smaller than I'm used to. And when drying off after a shower I used to like putting my foot up on a big bench in the room to dry my legs and feet. New bathroom is too cramped to even move around freely, so a bench was out of the question. But the height of this works fine. It's sturdy enough for that. And it folds in one quick motion to slide beside the shower so it doesn't take up precious floor space when not in use.
