I prefer the old invisible selfie stick to this one because the old one is longer and fixed.
This selfie stick does not have a locking mechanism, it only works by friction, so if it wears out it becomes useless. I like the old selfie stick because when it was unlocked it was easy to slide and when it was locked it was REALLY LOCKED. It's hard to pull out and put away, and once it's out, the friction can fail if you use enough force and it doesn't last long. Just jumping up and down will fail.
