Wow! What a beautiful depiction. And it took me about 7 minutes to take it out of the box, plug it in and run the second screen for my MacBook. All required cables are included for my use case. I stuck it in the wall and connected it to my laptop: done. Very impressed so far. To be honest I haven't gotten a new display since they put tubes in it so I might be impressionable but this thing is bright, clear and easy to read. If you have a device with a mini display port, you can just use the included DP to mini DP cable. If your device supports USB, you can use the supplied USB cable. You'll need a different cable for HDMI, but there's a connector on the display. The display consists of two parts: a portrait-oriented display and a base that screws on with a single screw - no tools required. If you need to download and install drivers, you may need to complete a few additional steps. Just make sure you can set your screen resolution to 2560 x 1440 for a widescreen display with crisp text. If it looks weird or this option isn't available, make sure you have the correct drivers and that your graphics card supports that resolution.
