First, it's my fault I bought a mirror with such a low magnification. I'm older and need at least 10x magnification. Guilty. Second, even if the magnification was enough for those old eyes, I'd be disappointed because the rod or bit that comes out of the base that the mirror is attached to doesn't stay taut, making the mirror unstable. This is a big annoyance!
