I finally settled on a water reservoir to keep the water and ice cool in the summer here in Phoenix and invested in a Yeti Rambler. It was damn close to perfect - even after 8 hours of parking in the summer heat I still had ice in my glass at the end of the day. The included lid was ok but as I drink water while driving I wanted a straw to keep my eyes on the road. That was excellent. The fit was snug and the straw was wide enough to absorb liquid quickly. I knocked it over a few times when it was full and the lid held it up well. I only use the original lid when cleaning it in the dishwasher.
