Review on ๐Ÿ’Ž Diamond Quilted Down Coat for Women by LONDON FOG by Patrick Diaz

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Poorly made - be careful and read please

I received this jacket in early December. When I first got it I loved how cute it looked and how well it fit. It was warm and looked great and I was very happy with it. I noticed that the details were stingy; For example, among other things, it didn't have any internal pockets, but I was so glad that it looked good that I decided to keep it anyway. After only 3 weeks of wearing, the button came right out of the fabric. I'm a seamstress so upon inspection I could tell it was because the button was only held in place by a thin piece of nylon that made up the inner and outer shell of the jacket. (For those of you who don't sew, inserting the latch this way would be like trying to hang a shelf from drywall without using dowels or bolts. Obviously, it pops right out.) Also, during the time that I obsessed, in places where the seams put extra stress on the fabric, there were 2 small holes. I was so disappointed. London Fog is a good brand that takes advantage of the fact that people respect their brand and make products wrong and as cheaply as possible. This maximizes their profits by depriving the consumer of a quality product. Lest you think it was just a jacket I ordered a replacement jacket and unfortunately the same issues were still there. This jacket is back too. I think the 5 star reviews are coming from people who haven't owned this jacket for a long time. When I received it for the first time, I may have rated it highly too. Problems only arise after the takeover.
