I wanted to try sugaring as an alternative to shaving and this product was a worthy introduction. It was definitely less painful than waxing! However, the texture was very successful - mostly heating made it too runny, although the instructions say it needs to be reheated in the microwave. . Sometimes I could click it easily. Sometimes it got too soft and just stuck. In this case I would use a strip to remove some and then wash off the rest (thank goodness it washes off pretty easily!). In the same way, sometimes he took all the hair to the last, and sometimes almost not a single one was removed. For example, the thicker hairs came off much better than the finer hairs on my calf. I've watched some videos on youtube to understand what sugar is like, but I may not have succeeded! With a bit of experimentation I was able to get it working fine in about half the time, which frustrated me. But maybe this is just new to me or is there a defect in the bottle I received?
