Bought for my daughter's dorm bed which sits high so the 21 inch height was perfect. The fabric is silky, blue-grey, soft. Bedpost (so many skirts these days don't have a slit). BONUS: The platform material is the same gray color as the sides. Many shirts have white platform material that you need to make sure it's tucked in. does not present this problem.
