Bought in February, died in December, the return period has expired. Audio Technica has a reputation for being reliable, so that's what I bought at first. Now I have a very expensive paperweight. At least it works well as a paperweight; it's heavy enough to really hold a lot of papers. While it worked, on the few occasions I used it (I think it could have died sooner had I used it more often) it made a decent sound. There was some noticeable inherent noise and not much play. I really hope I don't just have to face the loss of $150 on this purchase, but so far it doesn't look promising.
