This is a good case and seems to hold and protect my new iPad mini 6 and Apple Pencil very well. The gray color is nice and the fit and finish is exactly what I was hoping for. Although it has a magnet that keeps the lid closed, this magnet does not trigger the on/off function of this iPad. I checked the system settings. Bad luck. While that means I have to press the power button to turn it on or off (or let the timer go off if I forget and just close the lid) or tap the screen to wake it up, but now it is in order. I'll probably wait a while for the iPad Mini 6 to come out and see if there are other case options that get good reviews and have a working on/off magnet. Until then it's ok.
