Assembly takes about two hours for a novice.
There was a small knick in the wood, but is is only slightly noticeable. The bolts that attach the piece to the wall for sturdiness did not work for me because the quarter round at the floor prevents the piece from going flush to the wall.I had to wedge something behind the cabinet to stabilize it. All in all, the over toilet cabinet is working fine for me and looks good.
