My 5 year old is small and wears a 5T/4-5 comfortably. It's a SNUG XS (4-5) and it's hard for her to put on. I had to go up a size but I had already washed and dried (in the cold, on low heat) but I asked them to try them on before washing. They appear to be thicker in quality which is a plus and the colors are cute.
