As someone else wrote, it's a nice belt but gives off a god awful stink. I stuck it in a container along with some baking soda, I'm hoping it's better in a few days. If not, I may return it. I love the smell of real leather, this isn't that. I suspect it's either tanning chemicals (which I've smelt before, this isn't that), or the belt may be made of a couple layers and this is glue that holds the layers together. I got the brown belt, so maybe it's just them. Beware!
