Review on Wagner ThermoQuiet PD941 Ceramic Brake Pads - High-Performance Disc Brake Pad Set by Don Devine

2002 Hyundai Elantra, Experienced Shade Tree Mechanic. Okay, I don't write a lot of reviews, but I have to write about this one. Maybe that will save someone a big headache. I just put them on and ran into all sorts of problems on the first wheel. When assembling the system, the caliper was not included. After about 2 hours of struggling with this I was ready to buy new brakes. I read a review in Autozone where a person complained that the ears on the back of the pad didn't fit. These pads have the same type of lugs along the outside edge and were found to hit the caliper causing it to not fully seat. The view of the old brakes had no ears. Using a dremel I cut off the ears and now they fit. While these pads will fit the caliper bracket, they are not designed for the 2002 Elantra. Good luck, hope this works for you.
