I didn't buy this at first because I wanted to control voltage and current which isn't here. My much more expensive model (WMR) with voltage and current regulation has died twice since March (now August). Since I cannot rely on an expensive model, I choose a simple one. I tested the bus voltage drop at 20A (my maximum test current) and found a difference of about 70-80mV. I connected 12V 20A to the port farthest from the input and checked the voltages on empty ports. It is very good. I opened a case and it's pretty simple. Apparently there are heavy buses with rated loads. The green LED indicates that the device is powered. Red LEDs indicate blown fuses. They are not very bright and can hardly be seen in direct light. I purposely burned the 3A fuse for testing. It's quite expensive for what you get. This is a metal cased power pole with cloned Anderson PowerPole connectors and LED indicators. I don't really like the included connectors and boots of the PP30/45 clone. Would have preferred a lower price with no extra stuff making the box difficult to close. In general, it works for its intended purpose; This will be my backup for the untrustworthy version of WMR with current monitoring and clipping.
