I liked the look of the American scrapbooks and the way they were packaged and shipped, but I was disgusted at how the outside corners of each book (I ordered 3 of them) didn't carefully crafted and folded and attached to each book. For the price it should be securely fastened. Instead, the strands came loose and couldn't be glued together when I tried this (even with Gorilla Clear Glue). I had to get metal clamps to hold them together and use pliers to pinch the ends together, which meant extra expense and time on my part. Each book had the same problem on all 4 corners which was disconcerting. It was hard to find quality military albums without spending a fortune on them. I liked the way it looked, but the quality of the corners was poor.
