Review on Togear Liquid Chalk: The Ultimate Grip Solution for Sports, Weightlifting, Gym, and Rock Climbing by Mark Harrison

Revainrating 5 out of 5

***At first I had doubts***

My wife bought this as one of my Christmas gifts and at first I didn't know what to do with it. While I'm not strictly a powerlifter, my primary focus is strength training with very heavy weights, and dry grip is very important to me. I've been old school for years and used chalk powder between every other set. The powder works as it should but is very messy and needs to be reapplied frequently during exercise. Pros: Smells good - almost reminds me of GOJO Orange Hand Pumice. Easy application, easy removal - you have to rub it in your hands like a lotion and it melts instantly under water. *** ON AND READY *** - Unlike my old powdered crayons that had to be used a lot during practice, this stuff stays in place. You put it on at the beginning of your workout and it won't rub/fall off the bars. It stays on throughout the workout. ***NO MESS*** - My powdered substances make a mess. It gets on your clothing, equipment, floors, and occasionally even in your eyes and nose. This material stays wet, so powder doesn't float around you, and it won't come off as soon as you clap your hands or pick up a bar. Now this material completely replaces my old chalk powder.
