Review on Black Audio-Technica ATH-M20X Professional Headphones for Studio Monitoring by Kero Graceious ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

All is well, liked the product, didn't buy it for nothing.

My first thought was to purchase either the Audio-Technica ATH-T500 or the Audio-Technica PRO5MK2, but I soon realized that these headphones are now prohibitively expensive. We needed headphones that were not only normal in sound but also comfortable to wear for extended periods of time. This was necessary for a variety of reasons, including listening to music, occasionally performing the task oneself, and using multimedia programs. The headphones were worth the money because they are very comfortable and they don't press on your ears, even if you sit at a desk all day. The sound quality is just average, but you can make it sound more saturated by increasing the purity setting on the equalizer. I also liked the design of the headphones. The only drawback is that, when the temperature is high, your ears will sweat, and you will need to wipe them; however, this is probably true of all types of closed-back headphones. In general, I am content with the purchase; however, the M30X is, without a doubt, superior, despite the fact that these are a bit pricey for me. Before that, I used Philips 2700 for about 5 years, until it got old. After that, I used Philips SHL3300 for about a year; these press after an hour, but they work with a bang, and the sound is cool. Now that I have this, I will use it in conjunction with Audio-Technica ATH-M20x so that I can hear a variety of sounds.

Pros
  • Aesthetics, Functionality, and Design
Cons
  • sweating
