Review on πŸ”Š NETmate 2 PORT AUX Audio Speaker Selector with Wall Mount Hole - Manual Switch Box for Enhanced Audio Control on Walls or Tables by Bernardino Suazo

Impeccable quality and good looks

I bought this audio input selector for an unusual reason: my AV receiver automatically detects the input and switches to computer audio (which I pass through the receiver), even if I didn't want it. By running my computer's audio through one input and leaving the other blank, I gave myself an easy manual mute button! Docking station, which then leads the line to the receiver. Unfortunately, the dock sends a tiny tug through the audio cable when the computer wakes from sleep, which it rarely does to refresh notifications etc. This small jerk is enough to shut down the receiver. threshold for line signal and switches to computer input.) The stereo selector switch is very light (the housing is made of plastic), but still feels solid in the hand. The knobs are chunky and move firmly, with a nice nostalgic "lumpy" sound, like an old tape recorder. The inputs are simply labeled "1" or "2" under each option and again under the corresponding buttons. The connections are high quality, but note that the unit is not grounded, which means you can hum very quietly if you choose an empty input (like I did). This is no different than most other consumer grade input selectors and doesn't appear to affect a properly wired input. In fact, I found the end-to-end sound quality very clear. The stereo selector doesn't seem to add any noise or distortion to the line at all. The box is not small. The device is about the size of a thick, full-sized deck of cards and doesn't take up much desk space, but it's not as travel-friendly as some of the more compact options. Also, there's no passive volume control or mute button that some of this product's competitors offer. All in all, if you're looking for simplicity and consistent quality, then this stereo speaker selector should be your choice. !
