I bought this audio input selector for an unusual reason: my AV receiver automatically detects the input and switches to computer audio (which I pass through the receiver), even if I didn't want it. The stereo selector doesn't seem to add any noise or distortion to the line at all. The box is not small. The device is about the size of a thick, full-sized deck of cards and doesn't take up much desk space, but it's not as travel-friendly as some of the more compact options. Also, there's no passive volume control or mute button that some of this product's competitors offer. All in all, if you're looking for simplicity and consistent quality, then this stereo speaker selector should be your choice. !
