I'm tired of buying new shower sponges every month and they keep falling/falling apart. I also got an expensive bar of soap for my birthday so I wanted to switch to a sponge with a pocket to hold the bar of soap. This sponge is a good size (longer than my arm and the same width as my arm) and lathers very well. I would like to warn you that it was very hard the first time and felt like washing my face with a Brillo sponge. However, after one or two uses, it softened and is now comfortable to the touch. This particular sponge is for exfoliation, so make sure it's the right one for you. I love it because my skin feels nice and soft afterwards. You get two in a pack, along with two "soap dishes" - essentially a pad to put soap on between showers. I don't keep my bar of soap in the sponge all the time. I lather and then place the bar on the protective pad. I've been using the same sponge for about two months and it still works. No breaks, breaks or breaks. My ring caught it but broke only a little. Overall I am very happy with this sponge.
