Absorbs well, light moisturizer, non-greasy

I have tried many different retinol products over the years and they are NOT all made the same. One thing I've found is that a higher price doesn't always mean a better product. Pharmacy brands like L'Oreal Paris Revitalift work just as well, if not better than some creams priced over $100! I don't like the squeeze glass. It just seems useless and unnecessary to me. I understand that some people don't want to contaminate their food with bacteria by dipping their fingers in it, but they make tiny silicone spatulas for that. Personally, I'm always spotlessly clean when I apply my toiletries because I do it after my evening shower. I unscrewed the pressure cap to properly dose the product. So much better IMO. The cream itself is not as thick and rich as I expected. The slightly more liquid consistency allows for easy distribution on the skin. It also absorbs completely without leaving a greasy, heavy residue. My skin is soft, smooth and slightly hydrated. I have combination skin, oily in some areas and dry in others. I have yet to use another moisturizer on top as it doesn't moisturize enough. I had no redness or irritation after using this product. I started slowly, as I always do with a new retinol product, and worked my way up. I started applying twice a week, then increased to every other night and finally every night. No peeling, peeling or other irritation. Overall skin appears brighter and healthier. I haven't noticed a significant reduction in fine lines yet, but I hope to see more with continued use.
