I bought this case for my new 16" Macbook Pro. Yes I am the right size. But the top fits particularly poorly and keeps slipping off. They grip really well and they have some really sharp areas. I cut my hand on the razor sharp edge around the openings on the bottom. This seems to be because it wasn't made well or filed properly. I only got this case because it hasn't yet there are many options for this new Macbook.
