I bought them twice: once on my old board and I screwed up without checking if they were waterproof. I drove into a puddle and the light stopped working - all on me. Now I got a new board and decided to try these again. Of course, I wouldn't dare call another puddle, but that's how these works seem ill-conceived. To turn it on, you need to "screw" the LED lamp to the battery, and it will turn on. To turn it off, "turn it the other way" and dim the entire light if you physically disconnect the wire spring between the LED bulb and the battery: you open the circuit. This makes the whole thing loose and easy to fall off when riding, which is what happened. The glue is great, but the fact of the matter is that if you're riding during the day when the lights aren't being used, the entire circuitry is likely to fall off your board. I didn't even realize it fell so I couldn't even find it. I was definitely driving on a slippery road and I know I didn't hit a rock. I wish there was a switch to turn them on instead of disconnecting the whole bulb from the battery. It doesn't risk them falling off. At least the glue is so good that I will have a hard time removing them now as I lost the light due to its own design.
