They usually last about two years but longer than other brands I've had in the past (I play every day). Just got the third of these, works great as always. Typically, the rubber on joysticks wears out, the base of the joysticks wears out, and the cable connector loosens and disconnects. However, the latter may be due to him suddenly having to switch off after falling or being tripped over by cats with night zooms. should be long enough. The app (which you need to install to switch colors and adjust vibration) is easy to use and can be programmed with several different memories. Not sure why you need different colors for different games but whatever. I just leave it to cycle through the colors. The color has never faded or faded, so that's another plus. I've never had any of them complete so I don't know how long they will last to death. Cheap enough to justify replacing every few years.
