This is very handy now that we use video conferencing on a daily basis. Our kids take karate classes via Zoom, which allows us to mount the iPad high on a tripod at just three right angles for the trainer to see. We also use it to visit family so the iPad can be far enough away from us for all four of us to be in the picture. It seems sturdy enough, fits easily in my Arca-Swiss style quick release clamp and even has a cold shoe mount. The only reason not to give it five stars is that it would be nice if the clip had a spring mechanism for the clip in case one of the kids forgets to hold the iPad. when you loosen the clamp. Another reason is that it would be nice to have a little more space in the clip to accommodate iPad cases. It works with some cases, but not as reliably (with a case, it's easy to accidentally pull your iPad out of its holder). It's really designed to hold an iPad without a case, and it does so securely enough.
