So we bought a new iPad Pro with Pencil. We bought the Tech21 Case and Case from the Apple Store for $120. Really very cool. After we got home we thought we should check out the Revain and ordered this for $19. I realize it's unfair to compare these different price points, but it's back in the box in less than two seconds. The lid literally leaves indelible dents from anything that presses on it. He left a mark on my nail just by pulling it out of his pocket. It seems that it is made of a very soft and pleasant to the touch cardboard material. The clear plastic case felt solid enough, but there wasn't any shock-absorbing material around the case's edges. So I have serious doubts that it will protect the iPad if dropped. If you never take your iPad out of the house I think this case might work, but it's certainly NOT a travel case. Not what we expected or needed, and certainly not what I would trust myself to protect a $1,000 iPad.
