They are well made and will probably last a very long time. The grommets that hold them to the shackles are excellent and the rope is taut and smooth so all materials are high quality by how they look and feel. The only thing that bothers me is the slider. It also seems to be made of good material, but the weight makes it slip around my neck when I'm working on something while lying down. When I get up, the neck cord is often in an awkward position. Unless you use them for frequent work on things that require you to lie on your side or on your back, I think you'll really like them. While I don't like the tangles that sometimes result from using them in awkward positions, I would definitely buy them again.
