I bought a felt letter board to recreate cute Pinterest sayings for my pregnancy pictures and to use for baby pictures when the baby is born. The frame appears to be of good quality and the online positioning tool available was a great bonus to visualize how the letters/sayings would fit on the board before the letters are applied. Although I will warn you, even if you place it exactly as it appears on screen, the layout tool is not entirely to scale and you may need to change the spacing/spacing a bit. What I didn't like was: 1) Email is not ready to use. You have to recognize the letters on the white plastic strip, which can be frustrating. A lot of my letters have little white bumps on the end so they don't look clean. I have to go back and sand them down with a file. Also, I didn't know that there was a series of letters on the front and back of the board. I took care of the letters the day before using them and didn't realize that there were some letters hidden under the board that also had to be broken before using them. Unlucky on my part, but all the letters had to be put together to make it clearer. 2) Letter storage is terrible. The company offers a cute little drawstring bag to store all the letters. But when you have to use letters, writing a sentence can be tedious and tedious. It took me over an hour to figure it out and find the right letters for a sentence. I had 3 more that I wanted to use for my photos and threw them away because nobody has time for that. Since I really want to use this in the future, I went to my local craft store and bought a bead storage case (see photo) to hold the letters, so hopefully this won't be a problem next time; but the creators had to come up with a better way of storing the letters. 3) Letters don't always stick to the felt board. Each letter has 1-2 (depending on the letter) small tabs on the back that fit into the felt pad. I was having a lot of trouble getting the letters in and then I discovered that there was a dead zone on my board where a few letters were missing because no matter how hard my husband and I tried, the letters were blank. got sick and dropped out. But if I move them 3 inches to the right, bam! they stayed inside. This caused my spacing and layout to be disabled. Other emails I canceled may have had an extra tab (they are all below) to make the emails more secure. In general the board is not bad and it will do its job. Now that I've added my own email organization solution, hopefully next time it'll be quicker. But I'm just worried that I might lose a letter or two because the letters don't stay in certain places.
